Description

Simmered just long enough for the flavors to blend together, this dish is both nourishing and satisfying. Serve it generously over white rice or pasta, and finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice for brightness. It’s an easy weeknight meal that feels cozy, wholesome, and full of depth.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. How to make:
  2.  Heat olive oil in a sauté pan. Add onion and cook until soft and translucent.

  3. Add garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes, until fragrant.

  4.  Stir in crushed tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes.

  5.  Add minced clams — I use 2 cans with juice and 2 drained.

  6.  Season with salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, oregano, and parsley.

  7.  Cover and simmer on low for 10–15 minutes so all the flavors come together.

  8.  Finish with a squeeze of lemon if you like a little brightness 🍋
